‘Scream Queens’ S2 Gets A Plot And Some Characters

SQ_S02_announcement_700x700Where you a fan of FOX’s ‘Scream Queens‘?  I was a little on the fence personally but….genre TV is genre TV and it’s always good to see horror TV do well and apparently enough folks watched Scream Queens to give us a second serving.

We’ve known this for a while now but what we didn’t know was what season two was going to feature.  Got that situation fixed today.  We know now that season two will be set in a hospital and that many of the season one favorites will be back – Jamie Lee Curtis among them.

Ms. Curtis herself confirmed the return of Billie Lourd, Abigail Breslin, Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Lea Michele and Niecy Nash- she also confirmed that she will once again play Dean Cathy Munsch only this time she will be running a hospital instead of a college.

The following character break downs also found the light of day:

The Chanels (Roberts, Breslin, Lourd): Following up on the season finale, the Chanels have been committed to mental institution, where they’ll be studying under their former nemesis Dean Munsch.

Hester (Michele): While Falchuk didn’t detail Hester (a.k.a. Chanel #6’s) role in the operations of the hospital, he said, “In this hospital, there’s some funny business going as well.  There’s an aspect to this show that involves murder and a killer and in those ways Hester is going to be intimately involved.”

Zayday (Palmer): After graduating from Wallace University in two years, Zayday will be training to become a doctor under the supervision of Dean Munsch.

Dean Munsch (Curtis): After traveling the world in search of a new passion, Dean Munsch buys a hospital and will “run this hospital the way she sees fit.”

Denise (Nash): Denise is now a member of the FBI and will cross paths with the other characters when her expertise is needed to solve the worsening problems at the hospital.

No word on when we’ll see the start of season two but just going out on a limb here – I would say this fall.
