Three New Clips Inch Us Ever Closer To The Debut Of ‘Annabelle: Creation’

Annabelle: Creation seems to be gaining some steam as the films big national release inches ever closer.  Folks who have seen it early have big praise and all the advance press has been strong.  That holds true today as three more clips have dropped – each more creepy than the last.  You ready for some freaky doll action?

Aug. 11th is when we’ll all get our look.  Miranda Otto, Stephanie Sigman, Talitha Bateman, Anthony LaPaglia, Lulu Wilson, Philippa Anne Coulthard, Grace Fulton, Lou Lou Safran, Samara Lee, and Tayler Buck all get to battle the evil doll.  David F. Sanburg directs.

Here’s the synopsis:

“In “Annabelle: Creation,” several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.”

The Time Has Come – Soon We All Can Play ‘Friday The 13th – The Game’

Call it a physical edition – a hard copy – call it whatever the hell you want, the final word is that finally, FINALLY all of us will be able to have our chance to play Friday the 13th – The Game and we’ll be able to do it in time for Halloween.

The game made it’s much anticipated digital debut a few months back with those that backed the projects crowd funding campaign getting all kind of exclusive goodies but those of us who actually want to own a physical copy to hold in our hands were left in the lurch.  Well, time for the happy dance!

Game creators Gun Media and IllFonic announced that fans will be able to get their hands on the goods on Friday Oct. 13th – ch, ch, ch,  -ah, ah, ah….

The announcement came via the following trailer.

Here’s how they list the release:

Bigfoot Is Back And Monsters Are Real – The Key Art For Big Legend Says So

You know me – always a sucker for damn Bigfoot movie and it looks like another one is coming down the pike.  Titled Big Legend – here’s what the big guy has in store for us this time:

“The film follows an ex-soldier named Tyler (Makely) who ventures out into the Pacific Northwest wilderness in hopes of finding answers to the disappearance of his fiance (Spiro). After a series of strange and violent occurrences, Tyler finds himself relying on a mysterious poacher (Robinson) who just might have the answers he is looking for.”

Kevin Makely, Todd A. Robinson, Summer Spiro, and Amanda Wyss star.  Yeah – that’s Amanada Wyss from A Nightmare on Elm Street fame.

No word on release date yet but  – I do have the key art and a couple of stills for you.  Let’s have a look – shall we?

Trailer And Poster Arrives For The Simon Barrett Scripted ‘Temple’

Temple has been bouncing around for a while – changed directors – you know the drill.  Turns out that they actually got it made though and they’ve gone and got themselves a poster and a nifty little trailer.

Here’s the brief synopsis:

“Three Americans on a trip to Japan are fascinated by a haunted temple, and, despite warnings from the villagers, decide to spend a night there.”

The film is directed by Michael Barrett who is of no relation to scripter Simon Barrett and stars Logan Huffman, Brandon Tyler Sklenar, and Natalia Warner.

Temple hits theaters and VOD on Sept. 1st.


No One Is Safe In The Trailer Debut For ‘House Shark’

With dialogue like “Well, you’re not gonna find a house shark in a mall – that’s where mall sharks are”, you know you are in for something a bit off the wall and once you view this lovely little trailer for House Shark – there will be no doubt left in your mind.


“When Frank (Trey Harrison) finds his happy home under attack by a dangerous but largely unknown breed of shark, he’s enlists the aid of the world’s only “House Shark” Expert, Zachary (Michael Merchant), and a grizzled former real estate agent, Abraham (Wes Reid), to embark on a desperate quest to destroy the beast and claim back his life.

Wayne W. Johnson, Nathan Bonk, Melissa LaMartina, Jennie Russo, Samantha Varga, Edward Mastin and Brett Janeski battle the deadly beast.  Ron Bonk wrote and directs.

This one is aiming for a Spring 2018 roll out.  We will hopefully be seeing it in the festival circuit soon!
