One of last years surprised announements – the release of Victor Crowley – a surprise fourth chapter in the popular Hatchet series from director Adam Green, is finally makes its way to home video.  Coming our way on Feb. 6th – the disc will be packed.  Here’s what we know.

  • Audio commentary with writer/director Adam Green, cinematographer Jan-Michael Losada, editor Matt Latham, and make-up effects artist Robert Pendergraft

What’s Victor Crowley all about you ask – got ya covered – check out the synopsis:

“Set ten years after the massacre featured in the series’ first three movies, lone survivor Andrew Yong has spent over a decade claiming that local legend Victor Crowley was responsible for the deaths of the forty-nine people killed in the original trilogy of films. Yong’s allegations have been met with widespread disbelief, but when a twist of fate puts him back at the scene of the tragedy, Crowley is mistakenly resurrected and Yong must face the bloodthirsty ghost from his past.”

Kane Hodder, Dave Sheridan, Brian Quinn, Tiffany Shepis, Felissa Rose, Laura Ortiz, Chase Williamson, Parry Shen, Blake Woodruff and Jonah Ray all star in this blood bath.  Adam Green of course directs.

Remember, Feb. 6th.

DEATH WISH Reboot

Eli Roth has directed a remake of the classic film “Death Wish”.
Release date is set for March 2, 2018.

Bruce Willis stars in the lead role as Dr. Paul Kersey, a bereaved common-man-turned-vigilante. The original “Death Wish” (1974) Paul Kersey character was forged by Charles Bronson. The role became a cultural icon and led to four sequel films.

In this re-imagining of the 1974 film the setting has been moved from NYC to Chicago–makes sense given the out-of-control murder rate in ChiTown today. And Paul Kersey is no longer an architect but E/R physician.

All the elements here for the making of a huge hit. Stay tuned!

‘Behind The Mask’ Getting The Collector’s Edition Treatment From Scream Factory

One of my favorite films in recent memory has been Behind The Mask – The Rise Of Leslie Vernon – to this day this film has yet to get the respect it is due and I’m thrilled to be able to report that Scream Factory is all set to give this film the love it deserves.

Here’s the announcement they made via social media:

Look for this all-new Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release in March of next year. More details to be announced end of Nov / early Dec.”

The Strangers 2 Gets A Name Change, A Release Date And A Picture

It’s been 10 years since The Strangers originally came calling.  The thought of a sequel after all this time has passed seems odd – how many folks will remember the premise of the shocking home invasion original? How will they tie it all in?  Won’t be much longer till we find out.

First things first – The Strangers 2 is now known as Strangers: Prey At Night – like it any better?

We also have a release date – March 9th, 2018.

It would appear – at least from the sound of the synopsis – that the only retie-in in will be with the killers themselves.  Here’s the official rundown:

“The Strangers 2 follows a family whose road trip takes a turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park and the power goes out. As they hunker down for the night in a borrowed trailer, three familiar masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test their every limit.

We also have our first look from the film, via a still.  I think you may remember one of the two ladies in the pic.
