With dialogue like “Well, you’re not gonna find a house shark in a mall – that’s where mall sharks are”, you know you are in for something a bit off the wall and once you view this lovely little trailer for House Shark – there will be no doubt left in your mind.
“When Frank (Trey Harrison) finds his happy home under attack by a dangerous but largely unknown breed of shark, he’s enlists the aid of the world’s only “House Shark” Expert, Zachary (Michael Merchant), and a grizzled former real estate agent, Abraham (Wes Reid), to embark on a desperate quest to destroy the beast and claim back his life.”
Wayne W. Johnson, Nathan Bonk, Melissa LaMartina, Jennie Russo, Samantha Varga, Edward Mastin and Brett Janeski battle the deadly beast. Ron Bonk wrote and directs.
This one is aiming for a Spring 2018 roll out. We will hopefully be seeing it in the festival circuit soon!
When the first trailer came out of The Dark Tower the net was all a buzz as sightings of Pennywise and a few other King staples were sighted throught its run time. Well, today we get a look at a little clip that highlights ALL the references to Kings little world. Have a look and see how many you can find. There are a lot of them!
“There are other worlds than these. Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, the ambitious and expansive story from one of the world’s most celebrated authors, makes its launch to the big screen. The last Gunslinger, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), has been locked in an eternal battle with Walter O’Dim, also known as the Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey), determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. With the fate of the worlds at stake, good and evil will collide in the ultimate battle as only Roland can defend the Tower from the Man in Black.”
Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Tom Taylor, Fran Kranz, Jackie Earle Haley, Katheryn Winnick, and Abbey Lee are the stars and Nikolaj Arcel directs.
As the teaser states – August 4th the quest begins.
It’s no big secret that the SAW franchise is returning this Halloween season after a several year hiatis – the other day the new teaser poster rolled out and today we have gotten our first official still for the flick – JIGSAW.
Picking up right were they left off – Lionsgate will debut this eighth chapter in the SAW franchise on October 27th. Remember the old “If it’s Halloween – It must be SAW” – I think Lionsgate is longing for a return to those days.
The Spierig Brothers – Peter and Micheal – direct and Michael the following to say about the venture into the horror franchise:
“We’ve got some pretty wild traps in the film — we don’t shy away from the gore. It’s such a perfect Halloween scarefest. It’s perhaps not quite as vicious and more fun, which is something we tried to inject into it. But it’s still full of good fun gore, that’s for sure. And, on top of that, it’s got a really great mystery, and there’s very interesting twists. It’s Saw for 2017.”
Will Tobin Bell find a way to wiggle his way on screen? We’ll have to wait till October to find out but it wouldn’t surpise me.
I mention above about the teaser poster, if you have yet to lay eyes upon it – give it a stare!
That PR machine is just starting to hum so if you’re a SAW fan – check back often as I am sure we’re going to be seeing much more in the coming weeks.
Yeah sure – this looks like an SYFY Channel flick on steroids but I don’t care! I love me a decent disaster flick and it’s looking like this one might just have it all. Titled GEOSTORM – it’s going to weave the following tale:
“After an unprecedented series of natural disasters threatened the planet, the world’s leaders came together to create an intricate network of satellites to control the global climate and keep everyone safe. But now, something has gone wrong—the system built to protect the Earth is attacking it, and it’s a race against the clock to uncover the real threat before a worldwide geostorm wipes out everything…and everyone along with it.”
A pretty kick as cast – Gerard Butler, Jim Sturgess, Abbie Cornish, Alexandra Maria Lara, Daniel Wu , Ed Harris and Andy Garcia all attempt to save the world – or do they? The trailer explains the plot efficiently.
WolfCop manged to make a pretty big splash back in 2014 when director Lowell Dean debuted his odd blend of cop flick, werewolf flick and raunchy comedy but, it struck a note with some and you knew that a sequel was all but guaranteed – well, say hello to Another WolfCop.
The film is actually slated to make it World Premiere later this month at the Fantasia Film Festival – on July 29th actually
Not sure if a synopsis is even required but what the hell – they sent it, might as well use it:
“Alcoholic werewolf cop Lou Garou springs into action when an eccentric businessman with evil intentions seduces Woodhaven’s residents with a new brewery and hockey team in this outrageous horror-comedy sequel.”
Leo Fafard, Amy Matysio, Jonathan Cherry, Laura Abramsen, Yannick Bisson, Jessica Hinkson, and Serena Miller all tag along for the werewolf fun.
