Details are a bit sparse but we do have the kick ass cover art and a handful of info so – let’s run with it.
In 1997 FX guru Robert Kurtzman directed a little flick that to this day still stands as one of the most entertaining horror films ever and it’s success spawn three more sequels. All of these films have been available but never in a box set – until now.
Lionsgate’s resurrected genre arm – Vestron Video have announced the Wishmaster Collection – a four-disc Blu-ray set and while as of this writing we have no solid info on special features and the like they have stated that the collection will be “packed with amazing special features,” and feature “restored and remastered” versions of the films.
A release date of March 28th has been announced so I’m thinking we’ll be getting the special features info very soon. Till then, dig on this kick ass key art. Worth the buy for that reason alone.
One of those film franchises that alway seemed to miss the boat when it came to collectible box sets is Don Coscarelli’s genre changing Phantasm. The UK got a kick ass set a while back – remember that one with the flying ball packaging? Yeah – that was the shit. Here in the states – Scream Factory tried to give us something to cheer about but no definitive collections. Fear not – here comes Well Go USA to our rescue.
Right this date down – March 28th – all you Phans (this one included) will want to make sure to save a little money out of that weeks pay so we can add this one to the collection. It doesn’t appear as if any collectible packaging is in store for us but we do have the disc specs and the cover art and you’re going to want to see what’s in store.
This release will mark the first time that Phantasm III and Phantasm IV have seen the light of Blu-ray – it also marks the first time you’ll be able to own the entire franchise in a box set.

The folks over at Small Town Monsters are one busy gang of filmmakers. Over the last few years, they have brought us several documentaries on various sightings of Bigfoot around the US. I first gained awareness when they recounted the strange events surrounding the Minerva Monster and have been a fan since. For their fourth film – director Seth Breedlove and his crew travel to Point Pleasant West Virginia and gather info on the infamous Mothman.
A truly fascinating case and I am very curious as to what facts the Small Town Monsters crew uncovers.
They’ve released a teaser trailer to raise awareness for their Kickstarter campaign to assist in production costs of The Mothman Of Point Pleasant and a yet to be determined fifth project. The Kickstarter rolls on Feb. 2nd and you’re gonna want to be a part of what these guys have got going on.
From the project’s YouTube page:
“Small Town Monsters returns for their fourth cryptozoology documentary! The Mothman of Point Pleasant chronicles the historic happenings that took place over the span of 13 months in 1966-67 in West Virginia. After a late-night run in with a freakish flying “thing” near an abandoned munitions factory, four people report their sighting to local police which sparks a “media frenzy”. Over the following year more strange happenings take place as Men in Black and UFOs descend on the town.
But what actually happened in Point Pleasant? Learn the true story behind the infamous motorman accounts from the people who lived them in this follow-up to STM’s award-winning “Boggy Creek Monster”.”
Remember – that Kickstarter campaign goes live on Feb. 2nd. You can CLICK HERE to bookmark the events Facebook page and keep updated on when you can join in on the fun.
Imagine our excitement when the press release arrived to herald a continuation of the pretty damn fine Full Moon series Ravenwolf Towers would soon be dancing on our eyeballs. The press release is the best place to get the info so…let’s have a look.
Mark the first full moon of 2017 with a brand new, bloody and bizarre episode of Charles Band’s hit series RAVENWOLF TOWERS!
Titled “Bonds of Blood”, this is the second episode in the RAVENWOLF TOWERS series which debuted last December to rave reviews and fan acclaim.
RAVENWOLF TOWERS: Bonds of Blood will be released on Full Moon Entertainment’s Amazon Channel (www.fullmoonamazon.com) and via FullMoonStreaming.com on January 12. It will also be available on DVD from January 20.
The chilling, seven-part horror series is directed and produced by Band, who is releasing one episode every full moon. And as a bonus for Full Moon film fanatics, embedded within each weird and wicked episode of the series, Band has found novel ways to re-introduce some of Full Moon’s most famous and feared characters and creatures into the narrative.
Synopsis: RAVENWOLF TOWERS, the dark saga of a family of incestuous lunatics lording over the remains of a looming, formerly opulent and now dilapidated Hollywood hotel.
Like a cross between Jack Hill’s 1964 Gothic shocker SPIDER-BABY and Dan Curtis’ beloved horror soap opera DARK SHADOWS, RAVENWOLF TOWERS follows the gruesome and bizarre adventures of Jake, the new assistant manager at ‘The Towers’ who is soon subject to the horror at the heart of the building: guests disappear without a trace, mad doctors meddle with madder science, degenerate monsters lurking around every corner and a beautiful woman who may be a distressed damsel in need of saving…or just might be the most terrifying resident of RAVENWOLF TOWERS.
At the center of it all is the spastic, inbred clan whose minds have become irrevocably warped as they live, love, die and commit all manner of sin within the walls of ‘The Towers’.
